Institutions own the hostels; RoomPe runs them, from room allocation and maintenance to gate passes and billing.

What it does

Two models. Under turnkey asset management, RoomPe leases an institution’s hostel, runs it and pays a fixed rent. Under operations powered by RoomPe, the institution keeps ownership and RoomPe supplies its app, trained staff, standard operating procedures and reporting. The RoomPe app handles room allocation, maintenance tickets, laundry tracking and digital gate passes with biometric entry; institutions get analytics and automated billing.

Satya's role

• Co-founded RoomPe with Deval Patel in 2020 and leads it as CEO.
• Developed strategic partnerships to broaden RoomPe’s services and improve client satisfaction.
• Leads the team that streamlines RoomPe’s housing operations.

The opportunity

Digitising institutional food operations end to end: ordering, access control, billing and analytics, for the institution and its vendors.

What it does

Cashless cafeteria ordering with vendor point-of-sale, mess management with meal plans and subscription billing, QR table ordering, custom meal programmes and a hospital food module, MedMeals. Hardware covers prepaid meal cards, self-service kiosks and RFID or biometric attendance, and the platform integrates with ERP, HRMS, hospital information and POS systems.

Satya's role

• Co-founded MealPe; as Chief Business Officer leads business operations, marketing, PR, business development, go-to-market and strategy.
• Led programmes to digitise food services for staff, students and corporate offices.
• Worked with cross-functional teams to improve cafeteria operations and service delivery.
